Just had the drop links changed on mine after suffering exactly the same knocking sound from drivers side front and it sorted the issue for me. |

Surely a garage should find that tho is there not a hidden bush on suspension ? I'm gonna get the jack out at the weekend hopefully it's gonna be something like that lol |

Balljoints, trackrod ends, drop links, there are plenty parts that can cause a knock. |

Drop links don;t always show signs of obvious wear and will take quite a bit of force when jacked up to see if there's any play. Maybe they just didn't use a long enough cheater bar!!!

As previously suggested change the drop links, easy enough job to do, did mine as i was having exactly the same problem, would change them both as they are not to expensive.
