Wind Deflectors

Anyone got some decent photos/experience/opinion of wind deflectors on the FF? Can't decide if they look too naff to stick on or not. Question

Am considering them more as rain/water deflectors than for wind noise as I'm fed up getting spray through the window when its open and the washers and/or wipers are used in anger. Apart from a wet arm, it can't be doing the switch gear in the door any good!

Only photo's I can find in google are close up shots but I'd really like to get an idea of how they affect the look of the total package - both with and without the rear window sections installed.

P.s. Car's Java black with privacy glass, so should help a bit with the camoflague??

i had loads of hassle trying to fit a set to my smax ..i found the anti trap system would detect the wind deflector in the window channel and send the window back down again...i personally wouldn't bother..

I've had them on for about 4 years and not had any problem with them handy when it rains and you still want some fresh air in the car also stuck them to the inside of the window runner with 3m adhesive foam strip for a better and snug fit Thumbs Up ====================================

Mick,

Cheers for the photo and PM. Yours look fine to me - not too dark and don't upset the car lines at all! Thumbs Up

Ally

Here's mine. Deflectors were already fitted when I bought it, so I can't really say how much difference they make. They look OK though.

Do they affect (positively or negatively) wind noise?

I have never driven my car without, so can't comment. However as they are designed to deflect wind away from an open window, I would assume they would be a bit quieter. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE
