Having had variour Landies fitted with them have found the following.

The clip in ones do generate more wind noise than standard, usually aeround 60-70 mph where it starts being more noticable and can fool the window trap sensors now and then. usually cheaper to buy as well

The stick on ones which Landrover prefer to supply are no more noisey than standard, but obivously not as easy to remove when needed.
