Make sure the camera is in the charging slot the correct way round, you can check this by either reading the manual (I didn't) or just look inside its cradle and see which side the metallic contacts are.

Have you checked the fuse? I know it's a new vehicle but you never know, failing that I think a call to the dealer is in order. Discovery 4 HSE

I agree with you ruk, back to dealers on monday. Not bothered too much about the camera as such, but would like to have a torch handy all the time. apart from that, very pleased with the car |

Hi I am very interested in this thread as I bought a second hand 2006 RRSC and have exactly the same problem, absolutely no life in the venture cam, I am inserting it into the base correctly but it just doesnt charge or show any signs of life, I cannot see where the fuse is that supplies the Venturecam. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated
