2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Java Black
Venture Cam

Only used the venture cam about 2 or 3 times and that was to only check it worked about 12-18mths ago.

Now we`ve a baby due (or actually over-due!) I was going to use it as a baby monitor when driving.

Fitted the baby seat in tonight, took the cam out of the cradle and now the fr**ing thing doesn`t come up on the front screen!

The green light is on as if it`s charged. Pressing the button again puts the red torch lights on but still nothing??

I`ve done a search on the forum for the past hour but can`t seem to find any advice.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try deleting the camera from the menu, then put it back into the cradle to reattach it.

I`ve not had chance to delete and re-fit it yet, but I thought the venture cam was designed to be used for driving over rough terrain. Enabling the driver to see the ground ahead before he goes over it?? MY10 3.6 TD V8 Autobiography

Go to 4x4 info, and hit the venturecam button, simple as that. If you don't have a venturecam paired, just switch it on and the system will see it. Works while driving for sure

I had some tribulations pairing a second camera that I was given. It just didn't work and I started to suspect it was a different spec or something. I deleted the original, left the car to sleep for 20 minutes, then started her up and switched on the cam, and it paired after about 20 seconds, repeated for the second one. They are a bit finicky.
Make sure you switch off the bluetooth on your phone and any phones that are paired to the car during this process, as Avi says, it uses a similar frequency to bluetooth, and the car will only allow one or the other to operate at one time.
