i think i may of caused some of the problem myself as i removed both of the control arms at once (still new to range rovers ) so i think if you only remove one at a time you wont have as much trouble as me ,going to be doing the other side in the next few days so will let you know

Did mean to ask to those who have replaced there control arms did you use new bolts ? I didn’t but have got new nuts on order as they got trashed getting them off

ok just finished the other side this time i did one control arm at a time still a faff but didnt get the same issue as i did on the other side Thumbs Up

just been for a drive around and i have to say at the mo its a bit creaky but im hoping it will go away as it settles he says with fingers crossed Laughing

Did you remember to tighten the bolts with the weight of the car on the ground and not in the air. Shouldn't creak really.

i jacked up the hub to normal ride height was this no good ?

Yes, that’s OK, as far as the car is concerned it’s at normal ride hight.
It’s to prevent torsion (twisting) of the rubber bushing being pre-tensioned by the weight of the car, causing the bush to fail early. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
