Good luck with finding a decent set that actually works. You could get lucky but they are like rocking horse |

Some do come up for sale on here but not very often. I did sell a set last year and got £750 for them. |

Thanks for reaching out David, I had seen those for sale on a popular online auction site. I'm up in Inverness so still a little bit of a distance down to you but not an impossible drive.

I doubt you will any cleaner than David's. I had mine removed a couple of weeks ago as the driver side was sticking. I was going to clean them up and try to recommission them. A couple of Range Rover specialists told me to scrap them as they are nothing but trouble and I can see why. The motor housing in particular seems to rust badly - must be made of Chinese Chinesium. Moving mechanical parts under a vehicle for 10-15 years and it is going to give problems. |

The brackets themselves aren't rusty, it's just the crap paint finish that's on the motors from new that's flaked off.

With all due respect Martin, why are you so worried about the cosmetics of the brackets considering they are attached under the car and you won't see them. In all fairness I don't think you'll find better than David's set for sale unless you find brand new. As long as you give them a damn good clean and make sure they are well lubed, then you won't have a problem. Just fit and forget with a bit of lubrication now and then. |

Fair enough Barmybrummie, we all have different standards when it comes to what we’re happy bolting onto our cars.
