Hedehogs and suspension

Can a dicky hedgehog (FSR) cause erroneous suspension results ? I've been getting the 30mph warning occasionally and read somewhere that suspension can be one of the things that can be affected if your FSR is up the Swannee.

Anyone experienced this ?

Not specifically but a faulty blower resistor can cause a battery drain on the system so i guess you could get false errors due to said drain. blower resistor is a fiddly job with a lot of expletives but do-able.

i did mine and now keep the vent/heating on auto so it's constantly changing speed on the theory its not putting a continuous load on it.

Thanks for that - yep changed mine a week ago. The most annoying part of it is that lateral heater duct that stops you getting hour noggin in and seeing exactly what’s going on. Heater blower works well now, although I’m going to be changing the head unit thingy for a dual view, so decided to go the whole hog and replace the blower motor whilst the dash is all apart.

If I didn’t it would be Sod’s Law that the blower would start making a noise a week after I’d been in there.
