When you perform the range change from High to Low, does the low range indicator light on the instrument panel flash while the range change is occurring, and then illuminate constantly? Also, do you get a warning chime sound and ‘LOW RANGE’ displayed in the message centre for a few seconds after the change?

I dont know if its related, but we had a 4.4V8 L322 petrol (now a 4.2S/C )and ours was jerky going into (mostly) reverse), , not sure if there were any codes but the opinion was a possible crack or leakage in the valve block. |

The ‘Noise on actuator signal’ error generally means that the potentiometer in the transfer box shift motor is producing an intermittent signal.
