Window trim surrounds

I'm thinking this may be a bit of Hail Mary but I've had no joy on the intergoogle and hope this makes sense.

Some of the black window trims on our barge are bubbling. They "appear" to be made of metal with a rubbery / plastic coating.

Does anyone know the part numbers, or where I've a half decent chance of buying replacements. Slightly frustrating that some have bubbled yet the upper tailgate is like the day it was made.

Many thanks

Many thanks for the guidance RHO which has taken me to potential supplier.
Down to me for clumsy wording and mentioning upper tailgate.
It’s the some of the window strips on the doors so I’ve messaged JRS to see if they have them.
Once again, many thanks !

I am following this thread with interest, as I have a couple of the b or c pillar finishers that have bubbled. Do you know how easy they are to remove and replace?
Thanks,
James

TBH, I’ve absolutely idea at the moment so have a two pronged strategy.
1. Am going to NEC resto show so usually Rangey stand or two and they’re v helpful.
2. Plan B, dig out trim removal kit, try find some videos online and if not take a logical approach then probably cry myself to sleep if get it wrong: positive though will only be on one trim🤪.

Any update on this, did you manage to obtain the replacement trims and have you been able to fit them?
Thanks

I have just taken delivery of a replacement driver's door outer lower seal and yet to fit it.

Basically RAVE requires internal door panel plus other parts to be removed as part of the process.

Unless I missed that meeting when it was decided to part dismantle the driver's door which will result in needing to re-glue retainer clips and fixings all that is required is to remove the old surround and fit the new one. You don't even need to open the driver's door to replace the part. The new part will fit under the B post trim as it has a cutaway section. What I have noticed is that the new trim has a steel section internally to give it strength and the end at the front where it meets the mirror is nice bright cut shiny steel! hence why mine has rusted badly at this point. This I will deal with before fitting to seal it but as mentioned I have yet to fit it as I might be missing something about why I need to remove lots of stuff according to RAVE. Current: 2003 TD6 HSE. 161,000 miles

J 007 update: short answer is no, no progress yet primarily because I refused to give in on the Phillips screw that holds the N/S reversing light lens.

When I went to replace the bulb the part part of the lens moulding where the screw goes through was brittle and disintegrated leaving the screw in situ. The screw sits in a grommet / lug which felt like plastic. It's also within the cavity of 2 skins. After losing a lot of skin on knuckles etc the only way to get the *&&&^^^ out was to drill the screw top off. The grommety thing is metal and was a complete pain hence me getting side tracked; anyway, problem now sorted.

Was at the NEC resto on Friday but completely forgot in the excitement of everything to actually hunt down a knowledgeable stand so it's still on the to do list but will post when tackled.
