90 mile round trip down the m20. I saw 60mpg at a constant 50mph. Averaged 37mpg on the return leg.

That's what the car says. In reality the true figure is 3 to 4mpg lower. All LR cars from 1984

With a mix of short journeys in the week and longer motorway miles at weekends my average sticks pretty solidly to 32mpg overall.

I did do a ‘steady’ drive to Dundee last year and managed to get a trip average of 43mpg.

over the life Ive had the car, (SDV8), its averaged a real world 31mpg. On a long steady (60mph) motorway journey to and from the south coast/Cheshire has seen a real world 40-42mpg. They dont like towns though for mpg. First time FFRR owner

Thought I would just leave this here - 4.4 V8 Diesel - not driving like Miss Daisy, just a normal run, with the odd spirited acceleration to get past slow moving traffic.

When it's 1/4 empty I fill it up! Never ever concern myself with mpg. If I did then the SDV6/8 would not be on my drive it would be a Smart car Rolling with laughter

Having had the car for a year now, and completing 6000 miles, I have averaged (according to my calculations, not the trip computer)...

23.2 mpg.

I have spent most of those 6000 miles towing a caravan. Best economy (not towing) was just over 40 mpg on a long motorway trip. Worst economy is 18.1 mpg.

90% of my trips are under 10 miles with a lot of off road in the shooting/fishing seasons and the "road Trip " app tells me my average since buying the car (VSE 3.0) in 2021 is 30.38, which is pretty good I'd say. Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984
