ok just an update.

The LRA chap as I said appeared to have fixed it by ?messing with the ?Cables under the car.... however about a week later it started doing the same thing.. so I took it into my local dealer - had to wait 2 weeks for an appt... I gave them the codes - and the fact the LRA guy felt if it went again it would need properly sorting.

they code read it.. and gave me back the car a couple of hours later saying they had updated the software and it should be fine - have to say I was a bit surprised at this - as it appeared to be a physical fault not a software one.. I wondered if they had messed with the cables too as to be fair it didn't warn me for 2 weeks but then it happened again so I took it back..again this time they ordered what ever part it needed and they had it most of a day - they originally asked for it for 2! since its been back its sorted.

so alls well that ends well. they gave me the impression this wasn't a common fault

thought id update you as I hate reading posts where you never find out what happened in the end

Do you know if they fitted a new motor to the diff?

tbh not 100% sure - my dealer are always really vague with what they have done - their attitude is we have sorted it.....

it could have been a sensor change.. it could have been a complete change... id love to see the records... if they keep any..

My 2017 Range Rover Sport traction reduced keeps coming on and off. I noticed if i drive about 55 mph on highway/freeway it comes on; but does not come on when driving normally on the street below 55mph. I also got new tires put on my truck, could this make a faulty light come on as well? I also had my truck sitting in the garage for 3 months and the battery has been weak. Does anyone know what could be triggering this?
