Ive been a lurker here on and off for a few years now. I've had 4x4s for around 20 years now. Pajeros are my thing -MK2 2.8, 2.5, 3.0v6 and an '89 MK1 2.5 which i rescued from a scrap yard and put back on the road and sold it recently. Currently own a 2006 e60 525 (3 litre), Renault Master Camper with the semi-auto box (IYKYK -awful thing), a 2002 3.7 v6 Jeep Cherokee KJ and now an L322 td6 2006 with 125k on the clock. Its black with a grey interior, which wasn't my preferred choice (blue with ivory interior ) but its mint with zero rust, sounds sweet as a nut and its a very clean example, which I've completely fallen in love with. I was slightly hesitant to pull the trigger, as i read way too much about reliability issues .....i seem to be attracted to cars with terrible reputations for reliability but so far so good (famous last words). A healthy dose of preventative maintenance always helps, my e60 has 230k on the clock which is why i chose the td6 with the same engine.

I thought id introduce myself as i'm currently fleecing some members for their expertise lol, so reciprocation seems appropriate!

Just picked up our first full fat RR, 2013 Autobiography, 4.4 V8. Battery died already as the wife fitted the car seats and left the doors open and fiddled with the MMI. Rookie error, just ordered a CTEK charger! It wouldn’t be a welcome to RR world without something like this happening me thinks!! Ha ha. Thanks for the site and all the contributors.

Hi Folks, I have sort of inherited a 2011 L322 autobiography ultimate which has been off the road for 2 years due to bereavement. It belonged to a friend who pulled it onto his lift to start replacing the front brakes and pipes and then became ill before it was finished. I'm putting it back together and aiming to get it back on the road for his daughter and have discovered this great site as a result of a hunt for technical info. I'm sure I'll be pestering you with random requests for help as I start working on it so I'll apologise in advance
