Netherlands 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
07 L322 Display stuck in Land Rover logo / no sound

Hello everyone,

A new member from the Netherlands here, had an 03 L322 4.4 with BMW's M62 before, now got myself a facelifted l322 with the 3.6TDV8 and absolutely loving how it drives. Also my absolute dream spec with Buckingham Blue over cream interior.

Bought it with a display that was completely black, removed most of the dashboard to replace it but it turned out someone had removed the fuse.. a good reminder to always check the basics first...

I have checked all the relevant topics on the forum but none of the usual solutions like bypassing the bluetooth module seem to work for me.

Anyway current situation:
Head unit display stuck on Land Rover logo and orange light blinking. Have entered the unit trough the diagnostics menu but wasn't able to get sound. If I go to the audio section CD and DVD are greyed out, AUX is not but can't select it either. So stuck in radio mode but only shows me presets that seem to have nothing behind them.

Have tried:
- Bypassing bluetooth module in the rear with a MOST loop and doing a battery reset (disconnect battery for a few mins)
- Bypassing the other 2 modules in the rear (I believe TV and TMS) with the most loop and also battery resetting
- Checked all the relevant fuses
- CD changed had the fuse pulled but inserting fuse and doing a battery reset hasn't worked

Considering to do next:
- Check IHU unit connections in glovebox area
- Bypass CD changer in Glovebox area with Most loop
- Remove amplifier rear left and have it inspected

Other relevant info:
- Buy more MOST loops to loop multiple modules at the same time in the rear left
- IHU and CD changer fuses where pulled when I got the car
- Saw quite a bit of corrosion in the glovebox area when I removed the dash
- Quite some corrosion on the TV unit rear left but other modules don't seem that impacted
- A large black connector is lying loose in the rear left compartment but I've seen video's where others have that as well so maybe that is for a module that is not present in mine.

If anyone with knowledge of this system could have a think along that would be massively appreciated. Greetings from Holland![/b]
