What years is it possible to add factory Carplay?

Considering buying an 18 RR that has v8, low miles. Next one of these I buy must have Carplay. The sport I have now has an android screen with CarPlay, and it sucks. What years is it possible to have or add factory CarPlay? 2015 Range Rover Sport HSE L494 V6

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey

My March 17 Vogue has CarPlay too, I think from MY2017 all models have wired CarPlay.
I added a very slick wireless carplay module hidden in the centre console.

Just for the record.
L405s from 2017 can have Carplay by updating the infotainment unit. However, that works only in the vehicles that have the high line User interface port. The one in Gremlin's pic with the HDMI and SIM card inputs. If the car is equipped with the low line UIP, then you cannot just update and get carplay.

There is an option to buy the high line UIP and activate carplay, but it's not as straightforward as the update and in my case it cost 600 EUR.

I am sharing the link from the Jag forum where there are clear instructions if somebody is looking for a how to.

What extra benefits do you get with adding that unit?

Standard carplay in the L405 is wired. This device offers wireless carplay connection.
