I had a coolant leak on my RR. It went to 2 garages and neither could solve it,. One wanted to charge me £600 to changes 3 hoses that would not have solved the issue. I finally took it in to a local independent LR specialist and he found it by applying slightly more pressure than normal when pressure testing the system.

There is a plastic pipe runs from the expansion tank across the top of the radiator and leaks where it plugs into the top hose causing a puddle where you explain. If you unclip the two triangular plastic trims either side of the radiator then the plastic trim that goes over the top just lifts off, you can then see the pipe and if its leaking, they are only cheap and easy to change, have changed quite a few now. |

Funny you should mention that, I've got exactly the same on my SV Autobiography, it's the O-Ring has perished on the plastic clip on the left hand side as you're looking at it (Driver's side)

I've got a similar slow leak on my L405. Did you manage to get to the bottom of it? If yes, is there someone you can recommend to fix it? I'm based near Hertfordshire too.

It’s in the local specialist at the moment. They called me on Friday to ask where I thought the leak was from as they couldn’t reproduce it

They’ve been unable to find a leak. Doesn’t fill me with confidence before I’m about to do a 1,000 mile trip in it…
