Having replaced my gearbox sump & oil at approx 124k and then flushed it with petrol to see what was inside the filter I found almost nothing.

Followed the procedure. Pumped around 3 litres in cold before it started coming back out, started the engine, cycled the box etc& ended up getting the full 7 litres in with nothing given back. Reminded me of feeding my lad as a baby. Should I be worried? I was wondering where it was all going. I did fetch the valve block down & I did the oil cooler pipes as they’d been leaking so probably drained more than my fair share. Tempted to take it for a little spin & see how it goes.
