Drivers seat not going back or reclining.

2003 TD6, the drivers seat adjustment will allow you to move the whole seat forward, and tilt the seat back forward/more upright too, but when you try to move the seat back, or recline it at all, there’s nothing.

Any ideas please guys? Wouldn’t be an issue but mrsblonde used it last, and she’s nearly a ft shorter than me, and has considerably shorter arms too.

Also got a steering angle sensor to replace this week or next, and now I have zero room to lay in the footwell Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Also, it may be unrelated (this is a RR after all)
I thought I’d try the seat memory buttons to see if any were programmed by someone with longer legs, just to get me out of trouble.
None of them moved the seat, but one button raised the steering column and another lowered it, on call. The longer I held 1 button in, it raised until I took my finger off.
The 2nd seat memory button lowered the steering column, until i took my finger off.

Try to connect the switch gear from the passenger seat. I did the same when my switch gear started erratic behaviour and I was able to move the seat perfectly. Only the steering wheel adjustment doesn't work with a passenger switch connected.
