could be faulty switchgear or a plug undone under the seat... ... - .- -.

Try to connect the switch gear from the passenger seat. I did the same when my switch gear started erratic behaviour and I was able to move the seat perfectly. Only the steering wheel adjustment doesn't work with a passenger switch connected. |
