I have ones very similar on mine, the rivets will eventually give way and the silver trim starts to come off. It may be an idea when you art get them and before putting them on, to drill out the rivets and put self tapping screws in. Mine have been perfect since First time FFRR owner |

Hi Jammers, when you take delivery of your new steps would you be able to post a picture of the mounting brackets that come with them? I would be very interested to see if they are the same as the ones in the picture, basically if they actually extend the jacking points. A lot of these after market steps come with quite flimsy mounting brackets that actually cover the jacking points and are unable to support jacking of the car. I have returned 3 different sets bought from flea bay for just this reason. If these are actually as advertised then I would like to try them myself. |

Much appreciated so they are the more solid brackets that extend the jacking points, makes them a bargain |

Tip, before fitting, paint the underside with Hammerite or equivalent as they rust fairly quickly. |
