Well done for having a go, it looks great, glad you got it sorted, I hope you have flooded the box sections with anti rust... also in the side panels of the boot there is space to get to the top of the rear arch and waste a bottle of antirust down there....... |

That's come out well. In my view the final appearance is less important than the structural integrity, but having said that your finish looks pretty decent from the pics.
