Hi all need to get drivers door open flat battery and key does nothing when turned any ideas gratefully
appreciated

I had this happen to me on an X5,put 12V onto number plate lamp via battery charger which give enough power to unlock doors.(this was with remote not key)

Im afraid its backed on to wall so no access to rear

Not even a trailer socket within reach if there's one fitted??

I seem to remember talk of using the side indicator connections but don’t know if true. Imagine they go through the light control module. Don’t know what you can get to underneath. I know it’s a pain to get to open the bonnet externally, obviously. When you do get in, fit a charging connector for like a CTEK and tuck it out the way where you can fish it out if needed. No help in your current situation I know….

I have a land rover indi locally will go there in the morning and see what they suggest or can do but thanks for replies

Lift offside side up, remove the under tray and put the charger on the starter motor electrical points, worked on my 2010 3.6

back in via jump leads from another vehicle and power to alternator then remote worked so very happy for easy job

Excellent. Got there in the end.
