Whilst doing a service, I noticed a coolant leak on the small pipe leading to the thermostat housing. It seems that the plastic hose connection has split.

I looked up the part number for a new hose on JLR Classic Parts (my VIN is FA211xxx) which is LR034629, £14.86, but no longer available.

The supercession takes me finally to LR080118, which is out of stock of course, and the price is now £176.90.

Best I can find aftermarket is

I'm concerned about whether the LR080118 part will actually fit - although it is only the plastic coupling that I am planning to use, I'll keep the existing hoses. It's a lot of money for a little plastic part.

Well I can answer my own question. I bought the pattern LR080118 hose. Unfortunately the hose is smaller so the fitting at the end is not a straight swap.
To complicate matters, LR080118 as a T piece and a third leg going off which the original hose didn't have.

Do away with the plastic push on fitting, the rubber hose slides straight onto the thermostat housing, I popped a boost hose on mine and in the process it smashed that connector. Free fix. Current
