timing chain assembly change

So the time has come for me to do the timing chain and tensioners etc. So pretty plese . . .

Question 1
Where is the best place to buy the parts?

Question 2
Where is the best place to get the timing tools (303-530 Camshaft setting/locking tool, 03-645 Timing Setting tool, 303-532 Timing chain tensioning tool)? What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time.

When I did the timing chains on my 4.2 SC I bought a genuine LR kit from Maltings 4x4 as they worked out cheaper then Duckworths. For the 5.0 I just ordered them straight from Duckworths.

Personally, I'd not fit anything other then genuine.

Maltings nor Duckworth did not have the parts.

Is britishparts any good?

Personally, I'd want to know the manufacturer of the parts. If they're not genuine, don't fit them.

I enquired about having the chains done on my 5.0 before deciding to do them myself. One person I spoke to said the cheaper kits are Chinese and due to premature failure, he said he'd never fit them.

That British Parts kit is half the price of what I paid for a genuine kit for mine in 2022 so I doubt it's original I'm afraid. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Not finding any source selling anything but from China What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time.
