I've reverted to standard CC on my MY12 because the sensor failed, after having retro-fitted ACC some years earlier. There are several parameters to change but also the fuse to the radar sensor has to be removed to prevent unexpected messages from the sensor on the HS canbus.

Thanks Graeme. A lot of the searching I've done has your input on the threads.

My wiring diagrams don't include the 3.6 engine, possibly because I didn't download it from Topix, but I don't see a separate ACC module on the HS canbus diagram indicating that MY10-12 don't have that module.

These 2 pictures show the parameters that I altered to enable ACC which would need to be changed to standard CC.

Brilliant thank you! I'll plug in my IID tool and see what options I have. In the meantime, could you advise which wiring diagram from Topix you'd suggest I download for my 3.6? I've uploaded a screenshot of whats available for my car.

What I have noticed is that Kia and Hyundai vehicles with more of the self-driving technology in them causes my forward alert to go off / disable itself which disables the cruise control. These vehicles are so prevalent now that I can't drive 10 miles without it happening. I want to just go back to regular cruise control, never cared for the adaptive part. I have set the JAG Cruise Control to Normal from ACC and Cruise Control to Fitted and Cruise Control Speed Display to Standard speed control full display plus priority messages. However, when I turn the vehicle on now it immediately give a Forward Alert not available message...hence causing it to disable the cruise control. I've tried pulling Fuse 17 under the hood, no change in effect. If I remove that fuse 17 before configuring the settings in IID Tool it also immediately posts a Forward Alert Not Available message. I've also removed fuse 6 in the passenger compartment which is for ACC and tried combinations of only Fuse 6, Fuse 6 and Fuse 17 removed. I immediately always receive a Forward Alert error which disables the cruise control. |

Has forward alert in the CCF been disabled?

I don't see anything related to Forward Alert in the CCF. |

Forward collision warning is my IIDtool's parameter.

Thank you GraemeS, i've read all of your posts on here and always noticed your settings available via IID Tool were different than mine. I'll reach out to Gap Diagnostic and see if there is a setting not available on mine that needs to be exposed to disable this.

I have turned mine off now, as I hate the adaptive cruise control. Why not give us a choice, Land Rover?
