Personally I’d recommend and did on mine genuine LR tensioner, pulleys and water pump. Dayco belt and Denso alternator. |

Give GlenRands in Liphook a call - several folk on here use them, including me, and always find them good. They have always supplied/fitted good quality kit for me. TDV8 4.4 2012 |

I paid £1,175 inc VAT in April 2021 for all the belts, pullies, tensioners and the water pump to be changed, all using OEM (or closest available equivalent) parts at Keith Gott near Alton, Hants. That included 4.5 hours labour and changing the coolant. Here are the parts (note this is for a 4.2SC so probably different for a diesel):

Some months ago mine's radiator was leaking from the seam under the top hose connection so as well as the radiator, I also replaced all the hoses in the V. Several of the plastic sections crumbled during removal indicating that they wouldn't have lasted much longer even though the engine cover hasn't been fitted since I purchased the vehicle at 19K kms. |

Most of the cost for this job is in the time it takes to remove the fan assembly to gain access so there is a very good argument for replacing everything that can fail. Belts, pulleys, tensioner, alternator, AC compressor, oil pump seals, water pump.
