2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Which battery SDV8?

Hi All,

With all this cold weather the battery has finally died.

My car is A 2015 SDV8 and I'm not sure of the spec required. When I used Euros website it refers to a stop start version but my car is not stop start.

So does anyone know the cc, amps and dimensions of the most suitable battery? They seem to range from £150-400.

2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Check in behind the driver side side panel in the boot to see if you have the aux battery. you should have.

I’ve just ordered a new main battery and aux battery from Tanya for £250 ish delivered. Went for the Exide ek960 (updated 950) and EK720 (updated 700) as the LR batts are both Exide.. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just ordered the same, hope it comes soon, driving the 911 in this weather is interesting!

Tanya shipped mine quickly and they came the next day after I ordered them. Just fitted them up today.

Weighty job to do the main battery, especially if you have a full sized spare!! But they fitted as they should.

The aux takes a bit of wiggling to get the +ve off but other than that it’s pretty plain sailing.

I’ve got a diagnostic so have reset the BMS for both batteries, but last time I swapped the main battery I didn’t bother and it was fine. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
