Unplugged cable drivers seat

While cleaning out the L405 I noticed an unplugged cable under the drivers seat. Couldn’t see where it went so I took the seat out. Anyone got any ideas? Highlighted in the picture below.

I could well be wrong but I thought that yellow connectors were usually for air bags. I know from experience that airbag connectors under the seat can be troublesome and wonder if someone has done some kind of mod to stop the light from coming up?
Other than that, could it be for something that your particular model doesn't have like vibrating seats or something?

I'd agree, mine is the same. JLR fitted a wiring overlay loom as the original is too short and causes loss of connection and hence the airbag light pops on.

They fit the new loom but leave the original in situ as its taped to other cabling and hence not easy to remove.

Tuck it away and forget about it! L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

can someone please point out the airbag plug in on the pic used here? trying to get my light to stay off so going to attempt to secure it a bit better.

also, is there an official LR recall/Tech bulletin for this airbag cable replacement?

TIA
DB.

I don’t know if this helps but I had an airbag warning light coming on intermittently. It was from the seat. Did a bit of YouTube digging and I found something that work for me. So on my LHD car looking at the back of the seat on the left hand side the foam bolster rubs against the plug giving the intermittent fault. The video suggested cutting a small amount of foam out so that the plug remains un-disturbed. Since then no faults and zero difference in how the seat feels. I don’t know if I can link a video but you can try searching for “BOO2O-13Range Rover air bag warning light common problem” it’s not in English but it does have subtitles. Sounds drastic and I wouldn’t normally try something like that but the connector in mine was just like in the video and when I gave it a wiggle the airbag warning light went off. Current
