TD6 Front Axle Suspension Issue

Happy New Year to all.

2003 TD6 HSE. Fitted new compressor, height sensors and ECU TO EAS system, recalibrated suspension and all seemed okay…..except….car will raise and lower on all settings quickly and smoothly at the rear and will raise fine at the front….but is extremely slow to lower at the front axle to the point that it starts to raise up again (assuming it thinks it stuck on something under the front axle). If I keep turning the switch to lower if will eventually get there….but we’re talking 2 mins plus! Before I start stripping things down has anyone got any advice or pointers regarding this……..no fault codes logged at all BTW……many thanks in anticipation. Present cars.

Update on the problem, had no one respond so today bit the bullet and took off the front axle CL valve, checked solenoid for operation and all working fine. Next the resevoir valve…….removed, cleaned and checked all solenoids for operation, all good. Didn’t bother with the rear axel CL valve as I don’t think (hope 👀😱) it’s in the equation…..yet! Blew out all of the lines with compressed air, all clear no sh*t came out at all. Even raised each bag at the front using an air gun on my home compressor….again all good. All put back together and ran it up (had to clear all the fault codes it had logged whilst in bits). Now the interesting bit (for me anyway). When I switched the system from ride height to access height, the rear dropped perfect but the front was the same as before…..however I could hear one of the solenoids on the reservoir valve clicking on and off at a steady rate….two seconds on two off and repeated itself whilst the front dropped, also could hear the compressor venting on and off in sync with this valve. …..no fault codes shown!! Anyone experienced this….starting to think I’ll just stick a new reservoir valve on and see (hope) that works……..

Thanks. Present cars.
