I had my 2016/7 flashed with a more uptodate programme cost me £350 and took a couple of hours to download from JLR, still have to plug in the phone for the APPs.

That's interesting. Did it include and update from 3G to 4G on the telematics? Oz have shut down all 3G and below networks so you'll need it when you come out if you want incontrol remote services... 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

I believe that it took the system to a 2020 car. if I want to use Waze then I plug the phone in, that gives me Apple car play. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

As i understand it, the module on the MY17 is 3G only and no amount of software updates will convert it to 4G.
