Rear passenger floor wet with wiper fluid

Hi all,

My RR L405 2016 has wet floor in rear right passenger seat carpet. It is washing liquid that collects there. I think this is related to tubes to the rear windshield wiper. But I cannot find where the tube goes through. Is it under the floor or above the headliner? Maybe someone can help me to identify and fix it.

Thanks in advance
Toghrul

Evening Toghrul,

Appears the pipe runs from washer bottle up "A" Pillar and through roof section to rear.

Maybe where it does the “dog leg” joint above the “B” pillar leaking? That would run down the B pillar probably into the rear passenger footwell? Time to pull some headlining trim, and inspect, methinks?

Also pull up the carpets to check cable harness or for other potential electrical issues before they become expensive? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

You sure it’s washer fluid? I’d also make sure your drain pipes are clear and not rusted.

Thank you for your valuable comments.

It is a weird situation. It is definitely washer fluid, it has color, smells like soap etc. I am confused that if it runs through the A pillar and under the roof how is it possible that fluid level decreases when not driven, and it is dry outside the car(no spots or anything). Also I checked under the B pillar and the trim, both are completely dry. I will also check C pillar, maybe it is there. But so far i haven’t been able to understand what is happening.
