My buying decision would be based on the condition of the bodywork only. Engine, gearbox & transmission can all be replaced. If you have a body that is rotten as a pear that could cost a small fortune. And if it's that rotten you would really need someone that really knows what he's doing and doesn't take any short cuts as the rot will only come back if not done properly. And they will charge accordingly. You wouldn't build a house off Sh** foundations! 2010 RR Autobiography 5.0 SC

Did you end up getting a 5.0? I bought at the bottom of the price range knowing I’d have to spend on some big bills. I nearly purchased at the top end and now realise I’d potentially have had to do similar big jobs on that one too. 2010 Supercharged |

No I didn't in the end. I very nearly did, but after an independent report done through the RAC there were too many little things that wrong like non functioning massage seat on one side, broken 12v socket, badly refurbed wheels. The dealer wouldn't budge on price. So in the end a opted for a 2017 disco 5 HSE Lux. It has similar spec and is £500 a year cheaper to tax! |
