L405 P2265-64 Water in fuel sensor-circuit range/performance

I was wondering if anyone else has experience the above code .

New fuel filter has been fitted, sensor replaced, I even disconnected the plug but still same fault comes up.
I run out of ideas.
Car is a L405 4.4SDV8
Many thanks.

I have just had the same error message ……water in fuel present /restricted performance and vehicle went into limp mode … not sure if it is an actual issue , we have had quite a bit of flooding /water on roads and we were out in these conditions but I thought that the RR should be able to cope with that !

Did you ever resolve it ?

I was tempted to reset but I am a bit wary in case there is really an issue ….it needs a service anyway so I might just get them to advise while they are at it

Reset it, if it comes back straight away it is an issue. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
