United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Galway Green
Welcome

Hi folks, fast becoming an enthusiast after finding my dream combo Green + Tan Range. I know I’ll need to rely on the good advice in this forum to get the most out of it!

Already working to change the rattling front speakers with the Audison Primas. Also need to diagnose why I only get about 10 mins ICE before the low battery warning, despite just changing to a Bosch S5 015!

Cheers

My wife is going to kill me for joining this forum.....

Our family car is a perfectly good 2007 XC90 with 166k miles and despite consumables has never let us down.

However I have a very strong desire to own a green over tan/sand/cream 4.4 for no logical reason other than I want one. I owned a classic in the early noughties and although it died from gearbox failure I really enjoyed owning it.

I feel its a now or never type scenario, they are at an age where they should still be a perfectly useable family car. The L405 is just too big and would be a pain to park and for me don't have the same appeal.

I look forward to learning from this forum and contributing in a positive way!

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue
newcomer

Hi everyone.
just joined as i have treated myself to an L322. Never owned a range rover full fat before, but i did own a range rover sport tdv8 a few years ago. i liked that car ,but always felt i had bought second best ,and ever since i have had an itch that i now decided to scratch !

looked at loads, several of which were big money, but i couldnt ignore the one on my doorstep which i saw poking out of a gate a few miles away with a for sale sign on. really clean and cheap as chips so i bought it.
58 plate in buckingham blue with cream interior and 139k miles and loads of history. so far so good, everything works perfectly and i love driving it. i am quite partial to a bit of tinkering as i restore classic 2 stroke bikes for a hobby, and i have an old 1983 sierra XR4i to tinker with as well.

cheers

David

Afternoon All

Joined the forum for info and advice. Recently sold a Disco 3 and was a member on that site too. Had a few RR's in the past but looking for a nice L405 Autobiography.
Having owned a few Jags in the past I came out of the Disco and into an F-Pace 3.0 S/C, fast as hell and corners like a sportscar, but the ride is like a sportcar too. So I want to change back to a FFRR.

Thanks for having me and Higgsy, does Cookie know you've bought a RR?

The New Guy

Hi All,

Previous early (2002) L322 BMW V8 owner, current P38 30th anniversary owner. Now looking for a late L322 4.4 TDV8 model and keen to make sure I know what I’m getting myself into.

I’m still hoping a late L322 will be the last of the “reliable” Range Rovers although expecting to have to spend some money along the way.

Ideal spec would be a blue over blue autobiography!

Thanks

Hello all!

Joining here today as I am currently in my research phase for my first Range Rover!

It will be my secondary car, reserved for weekends and will be used off road to reach some shooting ranges around the the south west of England while carrying whatever I may need on the day.

I am currently thinking a 2010 onward L322, either the 4.4 SDV8 or the 5.0 supercharged V8 petrol.

Look forward reading the vast amount of content discussed on these forums and engaging in new conversations with you all!
