You mention that the water sensor connector did not screw in quite flush when fitted to the replacement LR filter.

I think I might have a complete housing . Had one bought for my old l322 but it was the 3.6. If they are the same can fire it down . |

I think I may have seen a post somewhere suggesting that this might just do. Worth investigating further. Yes, it is - apologies, I must have misread your post. Agree a replacement cap would be ideal. But I fear you may have trouble sourcing this on its own. This thread suggests that the wiring harness is common to the 4.4 and 3.6., so the Mr. Tee's offer may be worth considering : https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic66708-15.html Warwick 2011 L322 TDV8 A/b Orkney Grey 2008 Defender 90 XS TDCi Java Black 2002 L322 TD6 Vogue Zambezi Silver (gone but not forgotten) And one or two bikes - Ok, maybe more than one or two.... |

It seems that the knurled water basin that screws into the bottom of the fuel filter (the one that has an attachment for the push on sensor together with an outlet drain) is only available with the complete housing and can't be bought separately |

Could it just be the o-ring on the sensor that's leaking?

I've changed the washer & filter twice David so i'm pretty confident there is a good seal ..... or at least it's not the fault of the O ring. |
