I went for the Scorpion Zero All season in the end. I was looking for some Scorpion SF2s but there wasn’t any stock and Pirelli didn’t have them available until the new year. I could have ordered some off oponeo but in the end just went for the AS. I have them on the Disco and they have been fine There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Trip to Longleat with the tin tent….. v nice.

Made it down no hassle, did get a slight hot oily smell when I came off the M4 but I got the same thing in the same place last year, and didn’t get it again on the journey or t any time since the last trip..Smelled a bit like tarmac… didn’t smell when I got to the site.

Anyway, it’s now gone and chucked an amber engine light at me. And Sod’s Law I walked past the code reader before we left and thought I should put that in. 🤣

So I’m in the dark about the problem, with no reader. Will probably call the AA out to read and clear the fault before we head home don’t fancy a long tow with an amber light on. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Managed to nip into Frome and get a garage to read and clear the code.

Obvs either an issue with the sensor or the egts were high on one side……..possible due to a 3 hr tow but they shouldn’t be, as it seems to be a voltage issue it does suggest fubar sensor. Let’s hope it holds up on the way home and doesn’t put me into limping home….

Minimal internet here, any ideas or threads on here? I’m sure I remember something about the exhaust gas temp sensors a while back. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Made it home no dramas, nicely tucked in behind some trucks all the way so managed 28mpg and just above 1200rpm all the way home which isn’t bad with the van on the back.

Now onto to the job of fixing it, and finding the thread on how to get to the sensor.

Handily the light has come back on once I got home….. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
