Diesel fuel leak - driver side RR L405

Hi,
I have a diesel leak driver side (LHD) on my RR.
It is quite a bit, looks like it comes out center or near the driver's door.

I have it to a diagnostic with a mechanic, who removed the protection shield beneath the engine and it was quite wet from diesel. I needed to take some parts out to further investigate - but i did want the car ending up at the shop and be presented with a huge invoice...

I have noticed that below the drivers door fuel is dripping - could be travelling from below the engine... Or it has travelled from driver side to the engine shield, as the car is parked slightly sloped at our driveway.

I really need some help it figuring out what the problem is. Anyone had similar problems?

Possibly leaking from the bottom of the fuel filter and then running down the bulkhead and back. Worth a quick look at the filter to see if its wet. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.

Thank you. Could be. But I thought that is located passenger side ?

The car is slow to heat up inside and when using the pre-heater its never get really warm. So it could be related. I will check that as well! Thanks a lot.

Hi
I had a 2011 RRS which had a diesel leak in a similar location. It was the diesel breather/return pipes that return diesel back to the tank.

There were numerous connections underneath the car that worked lose over time.

Thank you for your input.
I had that on my list as well.
What would be the easiest way to check this without a lift ?

Thank you in advance.

I put the suspension in the highest setting and crawled under. It was kind of obviously after a few mins with a torch. Biggest issue was the number of joints. I reconnected three but others just popped off. I think I should have replaced the entire system as I think I probably had a blockage somewhere. Part ex'd the car in the end for a l405.

Thanks 👍. I will give it a go.
I also bought an endoscope camera attached to my phone, this will allow additional visibility.
