I have a Jag X350 Sovereign with cranberry interior. The seats looked gaudy in the dealer's photos but everything else about the car was exactly what I wanted, so I went to have a look. The seats look much more subtle in the flesh and I still have the car 6 years on. There's no sign of wear whatsoever and they have definitely worn better than my previous car with cream leather. My L405 has the standard creamy coloured seats but given the choice I would definitely go for red. |

For me, red leather (vinyl) interiors look OK in classic cars (<70's), but for some reason don't do the same for me in modern cars, where I prefer the "beige" approach. (must be my age...) .

On resale, red might actually appeal more to a “sporty” younger buyer now the cars are getting more affordable.
