First impressions - shocking.

I suppose it will boil down to what their cars are like. However, I read some stats that show the number of drivers between 17-26 is down 360,000 compared to 5 years ago. So it may be there will be fewer young trendy drivers in the market to buy these cars.

Even more pleased now that last year my wife swapped her 2019 F-Type for a new run-off 75 Anniversary Edition 5.0 V8. Seems it really was one of the last sporty Jags made. 2024 P550e Autobiography

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey

I’m expecting small, multicoloured, plastic-bodied all-electric citycars, with auto speed control,
self-driving optionally higher up the range, with AEB/smart cruise for lesser models, no purchase, lease only.

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Hi,

Well you should remember this foray from high performance player to pint sized boxes as part of their "reaching the masses" experiment.

No ?, surprising, Aston sold a whopping 150 Cygnets before this project got drop kicked into oblivion.

I thought the Toyota Yaris Aston Martin was to try to get the average CO2 emissions for AM below a threshold.

It was the Toyota iQ that the Cygnet was based on and it was purely to reduce the overall company emissions.

What's crazy is the residual values that the Cygnets hold today!

I for one despise the new Jaguar branding so far... This did make me chuckle earlier though!

I think the new Jaguar branding is horrendous, then I posted a link to the 'New TWR XJS Jaguar, saying it was a bit 'loud and shouty'....... However......

https://www.google.com/url?esrc=s&q=&a..._a7r8DUBwX

The link is for the 'Harry's garage' video with the car at the TWR factory / garage, and after watching the video I have now added the car to my lottery wish list Embarassed Thumbs Up The engine bay on the car is a sight to see

I think the problem is the the traditional Jaguar customer is moving on. When you combine that with the push towards electric and they have found themselves in a tough spot.

There’s a very good discussion on it here;

https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-...0678183400

The branding was always going to cause due vision but that alone won’t be enough, unless the cars meet a viable demand then they may be a bit stuffed.
