I put my 2017 autobiography through the multi point check and one of the things that came up were 4 missing scuttle panel clips. I picked up some off Amazon, they’re 9mm thick and look identical to the rest of the clips in the engine bay but they don’t fit the scuttle panel.

The lower section the scuttle clips with looks threaded, I would welcome thoughts or pictures, are the part numbers different?

One option would be to drill out the plastic lower scuttle panel which I’m a little reluctant to do given it’s doesn’t feel like the right solution.

I removed my scuttle panel this week for an oil cooler job and the 4 clips on the scuttle panel are thinner with a star head screw instead of the the flat top with a cross type for all the rest of the engine panels.

if you use that link it shows a 6.5mm screw rivet and that should work.
