Any Good 2025 019 AGM Battery Deals ?

Hi,

Here we go again, mercury is falling fast and damp is in the air so it's time for me to chuck out my old battery of 3 years and go for a new one before this one gives up totally.

Anybody know of any great deals on good brand new "019 AGM" batteries out there at the moment ?

A lot go onto tayna website for good battery deals. One good tip is look at ‘collection’ rather than p&p as tayna will deliver free to one of their stockists which could be local to you? 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Got mine from Tayna 3 years ago but don't think I need to replace it just yet - is your showing signs of failing? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Worth looking out for one with a five-year guarantee, Tayna have them. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Hi,

Mines not failing yet, but I'm down to about 5 minutes of radio time after switch off as opposed to 30 when it was new so it's well on the way out. I'm concerned that as it gets colder the power is just going to fall off a cliff.

5 years Guarantee worth thinking about

Try Costco my 3.6 had a Bosch XXXX S05 it gave out two months after the 5 year guarantee. I priced a new one and returned to Costco as they were competitive and with the intent to replace it with another Bosch.

Well I asked, rather in hope than the assertion of any right( two months is still outside the warranty) Costco bless their socks replaced FOC ..... well nearly I paid the difference from the original and new price.

You may view that as the benefit of a premium brand purchase or a premium brand retailer or as I see it just some good luck that they had the transaction on file as I rarely remember to log such purchases. I think 5 years is pretty good on a battery. Very Happy

I got a Tayna “Enduroline” 019 AGM 95Ah battery 2 years ago with 5-year guarantee, not sure of the current price.
I just tested it with my trusty KINGBOLEN 558 last weekend, and it still has 100% capacity, so well pleased. Not sure what the warranty is worth as never had to claim. Rolling with laughter Anybody? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

The problem with tayna is that to claim on the warranty you must post back the battery for them to inspect and certify its went wrong, getting someone to transport it without the appropriate box is quite difficult.

When my purchase threw its hand in after a year, I didn't even bother to chase up the warranty due to this, just took it on the chin and bought from a local place instead.

Tom the thread is about batteries not oil.

Just try to get a dodgy battery sent back to them, its virtually impossible.

I wouldn't buy another battery from them because of that.

I have bought Batteries from them and have had an issue with a damaged battery and called them spoke to customer services and had a new one delivered the next day so I have only good experiences of Tanya when it comes to batteries and issues

My comment about oil was just sharing that it was cheap from them at the moment apologise if this distracts from the topic on batteries. Current

Chill guys, we are all only trying to help one another on here, but can I make a special request, please?

Very Happy

The battery company in question is T-A-Y-N-A, and not TANYA.

This misspelling always irritates Gremlin in particular, because it was my first wife’s name, and I’d really like to forget that ghastly episode Censored Evil or Very Mad

So, please: TAYNA, not TANYA, thank you and much appreciated Bow down Bow down Bow down

I did notice but didn't want to be the pedant

But seriously look how hard it is to have a battery couriered if it goes wrong, it surprised me 😎
