I have been having an issue with my wiper arm (drivers side), almost as if it had excessive play and got worse. I took it off today and noticed that the top bracket was missing (which i have found, part no. DYF000030) which caused it to rub on the teeth where it meets the bracket on the mechanism. It appears both wiper arm and toothed gear is beyond repair as it has excessive wear. I have purchased a new wiper arm however, i am struggling to find the toothed gear which the wiper blade fits on. I have attached an image below showing the gear over the threaded part of the wiper mechanism, hopefully somebody may be able to assist with this as i would prefer not to have to purchase a new wiper mechanism if possible.
