L322 2012 height sensors

Morning,

Wondering if someone could help me with some height sensor trouble! Yesterday I got a c1130-66 fault and this morning on my drive to work I checked the height sensor voltages to see what is going on;

Driving:
FR 1.70v
FL 3.38v
RR 2.10v
RL 2.62

Access:
FR 1.38
FL 3.62
RR 1.55
RL 3.08

Off-road:
FR 2.23
FL 2.58
RR 2.52
RL 2.52

By the above, I would say the front right airbag needs replacing, but I want to make sure others agree, as they aren't cheap!

Thank you!

Have you tried a ride height calibration?

See: https://youtu.be/9ot3L4CHPd4?si=hAsTzMuBJoR4E9B4

About 20 mins in.

It may also be the supply pipe and/or the gland between pipe and bag. Worth checking before jumping in a buying new struts or a bag. TDV8 4.4 2012

That's a good point - I haven't yet, and I do have my GAP tool, so I can do it - I'll try at lunch. Thank you!

The car has also had a bit of suspension work in the last few months, with two rear shocks, new control arms at the front and a 4 wheel alignment - but no height calibration.

The height sensor voltages are different front and rear and one side pair increase in voltage whilst the other side pair decrease in voltage as height changes.

Thanks Graeme - that makes sense - I guess what confused me was the big difference between both the front sensors when the vehicle is moving, as I was expecting these to be the same,

LR has used different implementations across its vehicles, with RRs up to the L322 and L320 having 1 side increase while the other side descreases, D3 MY05/MY06 all increasing or decreasing but MY07+ and D4s having the diagonals increasing or decreasing which is what LR settled on for the L405, L494, L462 Discovery and the L663 Defender. I don't know about the Velar but suspect the same.
