Hello everyone, it wasn't the pump and the large heating valve that caused the heating to not work, all the hoses towards the footwell are still cold, I then ordered the other valve with a solenoid valve, I'm curious when I install it next week then it gets warm. Luckily, as is often the case, the customer has a second Range Rover to drive. So, done, it was the single heating valve on the right in the direction of travel, you can get to it quite easily compared to the left, the fuse box and air filter had to be removed. Only the stupid clamps were difficult to loosen, so I installed screw clamps that are easily accessible from above. After bleeding, the car was immediately warm again and the customer is happy. I'm working up to doing this exact same job. Did you simply bleed from the top bleed screw over the radiator, or is there more to it than that? Any other tips I should be prepared for? Thanks 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue TVR Griffith Alfa Romeo Mito QV |

Hello, yes, bleeding can only be done at the top plastic screw near the expansion tank. But as I said, it is very difficult to remove all the little nuts from the heat shield. On the left side in the direction of travel you have to remove the air filter box and the complete diesel filter in order to even find access to the parts. For me it was ultimately the valve on the other side where the fuse box is located, which can also be easily removed. Good luck !! It's the right side single solenoid valve I'm replacing, so hopefully not too difficult a job! 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue TVR Griffith Alfa Romeo Mito QV |
