United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Baltic Blue

Just had my first visit to Robert Country Vehicles. Left the car with them for a few jobs 🤞

Ok, I wasn’t wholly impressed by them. They ignored my request for replacing some very rusty exhaust nuts and bolts. And I was surprised that not only had they not washed the car but I found a few paw marks on the inside drivers side.

They didn’t recommend replacing the gearbox fluids (as I mentioned previously) and today I asked for a quote for supply and fit deployable steps and they won’t do it - said it’s too much agro. I was surprised by that. So the jury is out on them.

On a positive note, as of today, the RR appears to be using very little, if any, water 👍

Also, I should add, that I was expecting new pulleys and water pump, but they said all fine and just a new belt required - chirp now gone.

They could have added some jobs and I would have been none the wiser 👍

Good point! It was the pipe going from the heater matrix to the engine V. I’ll dig out the part number later.

My wife can’t use a simple mag mount for her phone in the car as she uses a wallet phone holder and keeps tons in it - it’s over an inch thick 😳

So after a lot of searching for mounts that can handle really chunky and phones, I decided on the Brodie mount with Arkon cradle. I was worried about mounting a phone over the vents, however, moved it as far left is it can go and the vents are still useable.

The Brodit mount is also very snug fitting so I didn’t even bother using the adhesive pad to hold it. I think the phone position is spot on 👍

I cut the screws down as my OCD wouldn’t let me leave them like that! 😉

Thanks
