Hi everyone, I've not bought a range rover yet but I've wanted one for a while.
Been looking at L322s a lot lately, think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger!

England 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Hi everyone, Just signed up to this site.
I'm no mechanic so please be go easy on the jargon (if it was made of wood, I could fix it)

I have a problem with my Range Rover, it's a 2004 Vogue with 3.0 BMW TD6 engine and an auto box,
I've had it since 2019 an I love it to bits.
Just recently it's been revving high just before dropping into top gear & now it's not going into top at all.
I've been told to check the oil in the gearbox before spending an arm and a leg on garage prices as this could be the cause.
I've done some minor repairs over the 5 years that I've had it but I'll be dammed if I can find a dipstick or any way of checking the oil level, is it just me or is there a way of checking it.

Thanks
Peter

Netherlands 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Santorini Black

Hello

My name is Tom from the netherlands.

I own a beautifull l322 td6. Its my first land range rover and i love it! I wil never drive anything else as a range rover ever again😜. My dream is to buy a l322 or l405 4.4 tdv8.

A couple of months ago i driven my l322 into a little river. The water wasn't deeper than 40cm but it went into the engine😭i think the hose on the turbo was loose, and the water went in that way. so my engine is broken and im into repairing it now.😭 butt i wil get it back on the road again👍

Just arrived

Thanks for allowing me to join the group, I have ran Disco 3's and P38's in the past. Just bought a 2014 4.4 tdv8 and was watching a 'how to' video and they recommended your site for good help on any issues. Looking forward to drawing on the members expertise, as whilst I am an enthusiastic DIY'er when it comes to mechanical issues, I would appreciate any help and advice to avoid costly mistakes, and stop 30 min jobs turning into a weeks work! Laughing

new member help needed

Hello All.
Got my first RR 3 weeks ago a 5.0 Autobigraphy.
I am loving it but of course it needs the usual inner wheel arch welding so if anyone can recommend someone in Essex/Herts I would be grateful.
thanks in advance and best wishes
Wyn

Introduction

Good evening all,
I just joined up yesterday. Ive been a member of Defender owners for years and have owned a number of defenders Range Rover classics and P38’s,but more recently have been on the Toyota dark side!
I currently have a totally rebuilt 80 series Land Cruiser that I have spent far too much money on, but it is one of the best in the UK and just came back from a three week tour of the French and Italian Alps without skipping a beat.
The downside is that my wife doesn’t like the overlanding experience and she can’t get into as it’s too tall.
Anyway the plan is to sell the Land Cruiser and buy a FFRR hence me lurking on here.
They do appear to be for the brave and the financially secure more so than the Toyotas!
I think based on reading loads of posts that I should be looking for a 4.4 tdv8 up to around £15k.
I’ll get the Toyota up for sale next week and be back on the hunt cash in hand so if anybody is Considering selling or fancies a nice Toyota Landcruiser please let me know.

Looking forward to the Land Rover experience again !!

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Baltic Blue

Hi - New member based in Worcestershire UK.

I’ve been using this forum as a research source for a while. I’ve just cancelled my new EV through my work car scheme after realising I was compromising on loads of things just because they’d only provide an EV. So I’ve cancelled it and decided that I’m going to get myself into an RR at long last.

I’ve already popped something into the wanted section - but if you know of anyone who’s looking to move on an L322 4.4 TDV8 then that’s what I’m after!

Thanks,

Elliot.

Hi All

Proud new owner of a 2013 L405. Comes from a good friend who has otherwise looked after it. I already own a Disco4 and have learned lots about them from the disco3.co.uk Forum.

Looking forward to lots to learn about the RRS.

Thumbs Up

Giday to all. Have just joined the forum. Have a 2004 L322, bmw 6cyl diesel. Bit of an oldie but a goodie.
Hoping to get some great feedback to the usual gremlins with these ole dears.
Had many many LR vehicles over the years, discos, defenders, classic RR and also the Jags as well, enjoy the British marques. Cheers oes717
