That looks like a bic biro, some have used this method with success. For a couple of £ I went with the loop.
With a loop you can also easily move to another module if it doesn't resolve the issue, bic method means removing cables from the plug.

Thanks for the explanation, now I know, pity I didn’t know that before, now I don’t know which way round the leads go into the plug or if it matters
Having cleaned the contacts, I would like to reconnect it and see if it works RR 2005 4.4 petrol

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Bit of a thread revival here... Mine did this for the first time today. Not a hot day and not an overly long drive. Has anyone got anywhere with fixing without needing to bypass the TV, or is it a failing internal PCB component that cant be fixed or bypassed ?
