I hear you but I didn’t think it controversial to ask about unplugging modules as this can be done in any car and a thief opening with bonnet to try and get it plugged back in would sound the alarm, so I thought it was a safe ask. The thing is I don’t want to go pulling plugs even with the power off in case it causes damage when I then play with menus etc |

Turn off keyless entry for a start, and isolate the OBD-II plug under the dash. That is how they are usually nicked.

I took out one-day insurance to drive her home so she’s not insured now. I’m planning to swap the insurance over when I sell my current car. I did do a check on go-compare for both and the Range Rover is three times as high as my BMW 435d, yikes |
