Dash cam

Hello group, just fitted my camera I purchased from Ebay, £305 brand new. Its a 20my AB I didn't follow the fitting instructions as per the site at the rear of car, getting the cable from car to boot lid was the worst bit, managed to mouse the cable through rubber boot ( used proper pulling lube ) removing wiper motor cover to feed cable through drilled hole at the top, I've read some fitted at btm, ran out of time to tomorrow ill position both cameras, took the opportunity to adjust the spoiler so it didn't touch plastic trim. App works fine on my android phone with live view and download of footage.

If it's the Land Rover camera, it may not have been set up correctly on the App

There is a good YouTube from Powerfuluk for setting it up. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

Tackled installing this today. The front camera was simple enough although with a pan roof there is Censored all room in the overhead console. Found that using a long cable tie was easier than a ruler when threading to front cam although I did have to unscrew the backing plate that surrounds the plug I order to fit it through the headlining..

For the rear is it better to thread down the A pillar and along the floor or go along the headlining?

Plan to mount the rear camera at the base of the window (if that makes a difference re length of the cable). 2016 5.0 Loire Blue

Some hints and pics here as to how to fix the rear cam. Good luck.

Thanks. Thought I was done with PITA jobs as I fitted deployable side steps last weekend. Looks like the rear camera is going to be more challenging than first thought. 2016 5.0 Loire Blue
