England 2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tonga Green
Another rangerover

Hi. Just bought another l322 after selling my last one 2 years ago. It’s a 2006 vogue 4.4 aj petrol. In gun metal grey. A few things to sort. Water in rear left so just Land Rover logo on radio screen. Bluetooth box completely rusted inside drying out all other modules. Eml on along with alternator light( think it’s the earth wire as sprayed it with rust release spray and light stayed off for a few seconds) need to fit towbar but can’t seem to source one to fit brackets underneath one with tow eye.(or do these need removing?? And buy a complete unit.!! Any advice welcome . Cheers John

Re the towbar, yes those brackets need removing, which means removing the rear bumper and the crash bar underneath (4 nuts each side inside the boot compartment - you need to remove some of the plastic trim to access them). Then the full towbar assembly can be fitted in their place. The exhaust needs supporting temporarily whilst you do this. Recommend carefully sealing the crash bar where the 8 fixed bolts pass through the bodywork, as it’s a classic place for water ingress into the boot well. I’ve used Tiger Seal previously. Jonathan

Hi. Replaced Bluetooth module today so got fibre optic completing circuit. So red light coming from front of vehicle and leaving back area but still only Land Rover logo. Will try hard reset as all fuses in rear right and glove box ok. Any other suggestions?! Will keep you posted. Cheers 🍻

remove fuse 49 in the glove box for 5 mins, then replace - this often gets you back the Audio and SatNav menus etc

Will try that as reset didn’t work although managed to get into screen menu following other advice from a member. Touch middle of screen for 5 seconds then nav button for 5 but could access radio , sat nav settings but could not get anything to work ( could not set time ) now went out today and drove 3 hours to a friends function got in it tonight to come home. And had a flat battery jump started and drove home with lights on heater etc stopped when I got home and turned off. Started it with no problem. Will see if it starts tomorrow.
