winter or all season tyres must be marked with 3PMSF from 1st november this year...

The article in JayGee's link gives the impression that only full winter tyres have the Alpine 3 peak designation. There are a number of all season tyres that are 3 peak marked and you should be fine with any of them as that is the mark the polices look out for. I have Pirelli Scorpion SF2 on mine which are appropriately marked 3pmsf all season tyres. They replaced Good Year Wranglers marked only M+S which did not inspire much in way of confidence on the white stuff. Expecting a significant improvement this winter. |
